Staff all very accommodating, knowledgeable and friendly. Check in was easy and efficient and vey welcoming. The guys on the reception helpful and the guys outside the entrance doors were really professional and never waited longer than 2-3 mins for a taxi. We had a lovely stay at The Fairmont. Great sunsets on the beach with a fantastic view of the Mosque. Food on the half board basis was really good and a varied choice. Breakfast on the shaded outdoor terrace with birdsong a great way to start the day. The pool was a refreshing temperature and all the staff on the beach and poolside are fun, friendly and professional. The view from the room was out of this world and the room itself bright and modern. Turn down service was a lovely touch and the rooms cleaned exceptionally well. I play padel tennis and there are some really great facilities only a few minutes walk away which I was delighted with. We really enjoyed the Sport’s Bar on site. Friendly staff and nice outside seating area.

We booked the Fairmont King Room with Creek View — the room was beautiful, with a lovely bathroom and great views over the creek and the pool/beach area. The beach and pool areas are nice, though the sea (creek) is a bit murky with a muddy bottom. Overall, a peaceful place to relax. However, for the price, the service didn’t meet expectations. Check-in staff were quite cold and lacked a guest-focused approach. The breakfast area was sometimes chaotic, and the outdoor seating section looked tired and wasn’t very clean. Thankfully, one lady at reception from Kenya left us with a very warm and professional final impression during check-out — much appreciated. The staff at the hotel are exceptional especially the people on the door, they are so helpful and engaging. This is the best level of treatment we have had in the UAE this was our 5th trip. We popped to the bar one night for drinks the staff were so friendly we ended up staying for food also, I didn't even know they had a menu so that was a bonus. The beds are so comfortable it was like sleeping on a cloud. The water in the room is made from the humidity what a genius idea. I think more places should roll this out. I was a bit hesitant on location but taxis are cheap and plentiful and if you head to the aquarium there are a huge amount of restaurants, cafes and a cinema here.

I want to take a moment to sincerely appreciate the outstanding hospitality we received at Fairmont Bab Al Bahr, Abu Dhabi. We arrived early around 9:00 AM—well before the official check-in time of 3:00 PM—and were warmly welcomed by Elisha, who kindly accommodated us with a place to rest until the first room became available, despite the hotel being fully booked. That gesture set the tone for the rest of our stay. Throughout our four-night visit, the concierge and all hotel staff were incredibly professional, welcoming, and attentive. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering breathtaking views of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque right from the beach-facing rooms. The hotel also offers a wide range of amenities: delicious cuisines, kid-friendly restaurants and play areas, an in-house salon and barber, and much more—all of which made our stay even more enjoyable and convenient. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!

I honestly can’t fault the hotel room — it completely lived up to my expectations. The space was generous, giving me plenty of room to relax and unwind. It came fully equipped with all the amenities I could possibly need. The entire room was spotless, which made a big difference in how at home I felt. You can tell that a lot of care goes into maintaining the space For those who are gym goers, Fairmont have a great gym, well equipped but take your own towel or you’ll be charged!
